About me?

I sometimes wonder what they mean when they ask me to write "about me" in this space. You see, it's not about me it's about you. I try to conduct the transaction in a business like manner because that's what this is...business...your business. I try to always stay aware of that. Whether you are a buyer or a seller, it makes no difference, my job is three-fold.

1) To inform you of the forces that are at work right now in your market, where you live or where you want to buy.

2) If you are a seller, you and I must create the perception of value for buyers. If they don't have that, they won't consider your property. And if they won't consider your property...there is no way they will buy it. If you are a buyer, you and I must cut through the clutter and zero in on finding a property that will meet most of your needs. I don't say "all" your needs because there are no perfect properties.

3) Where I earn my fee is in the negotiating. I am your advocate, not just a messenger. I negotiate the intial offer on your behalf, the inspection issues if any, and then I follow the transaction all the way to closing. It is during this phase that I anticipate the land mines, time bombs or potholes that can trip up and derail a transaction. It's really not so daunting if I've prepared you for the transaction properly. I'd rather anticipate and avoid problems than have to scramble. So...let's do some business.

As an agent who's an expert in this local area, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate here. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. I am eager to serve you. You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter - not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home.

When it's time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close.

Often buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience - which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home sitting on the market and one that's sold fast.

Additionally, there is life beyond Real Estate.  I participate in various community theater groups in Monroeville, Delmont, McKeesport, Elizabeth, PA as well as participating in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. Community theater is alive and well in Western Pennsylvania. I am also a narrator of audiobooks for Audible as well as a freelance Voice Actor. Plus I wrote and produced a real estate podcast called "Real Estate from the Trenches".
